Is there evidence that an insurance company might compel a physician to delay treatment with CK (we need another CT scan to better map the treatment) in order to increase the chances the tumor will grow too large for surgery, despite radiation/chemo success?

Wow. That is too paranoid for even an acknowledged insurance company foe like myself. No, that would not happen. The last person a physician would listen to would be someone from an insurance company

Just frustrating that the initial CT scan was not adequate...difficult for my Mom to hold her arms above her head since she just got the medport inserted.  But need more scans before radiation can begin.  And the process is so slow...
