I had a Schwannoma removed in 2007 from the left psoas muscle. That was followed by radiation. It was actually my third time to undergo radiation, the first two times being for Hodgkins lymphoma. Now the Schwannoma has returned and is wrapped around L3, having invaded the vertebral body. It stretches from T12 to L4 I believe. My dr. cannot recommend any more radiation so has started me on chemotherapy in the hope that it will shrink the tumor enough to allow surgical removal. Could CyberKnife possibly offer a different course?

Sounds like an ideal case for radiosurgery. Chemotherapy is not likely to be useful
