Am planning to undergo ck for 22x22 mm pilocytic astro involving dorsal tectum n thalamus . how many sitting needed? Will tumor disappear completely? Any side eff? Changes of malignant transformation on recurrance incase? Suggestions please. Am from india.

It really is not possible to answer those questions because we don't have enough information. But your treating team certainly has the information and should answer those for you.

As different imaging findings regarding pilocytic astrocytomas using both conventional and advanced magnetic resonance imaging sequences were done according to tumour location, tumour’s tendency. Without any information not able to pretend anything.
