Cyberknife for Lymph Nodes

Can cyberknife be used in conjunction with chemotherapy to shrink lymph nodes? Specifically, could it be used on 3 or 4 retroperitoneal lymph nodes? Thank you!

Can it be used for that? Almost certainly yes. Should it be? Almost certainly no. With that many known involved lymph nodes, it is a virtual certainty that there are other as yet undetected. Treatment with something that covers those as well is probably a better option

Thank you for your response. Chemotherapy is already being used. Would you recommend some other form of radiation instead of Cyberknife?

Yes, regional radiation with standard XRT
