My brother (aged 29) was diagnosed with synovial soft tissue sarcoma (on his right leg) on March 2009 and was treated with high dose radiotherapy after excission. Recently in Sept 2010, he found out that it has metasticised mainly to the pelvis and spine (with very small lesions in liver and lymph nodes and lung).  He is undergoing chemotherapy the response of which is not too good.  Would cyberknife treatment be of any use in his case?  Any urgent advice would be much appreciated.

It could potentially treat some of the areas for palliative benefit, but would not be useful for cure in this situatioin

In most cases, we would use conventional palliative RT in this this situation except perhaps for a spinal lesion.
