I am an Indian and now 39 yrs old. I started out when I was 30 with a GIST [7cm by 11cm] for which I had a gastric sleeve resection. I was asymptomatic for 5 yrs and then developed liver mets [ 2 lesions sub 2 cms]. These were RFAed and I took Gleevac, This did not work and now, 3 yrs hence I am adviced SBRT for 4 liver mets [sub 2 cms]. The cyberknife is very expensive in India, I have no insurance, Is this a good treatment option for me? What are my chances of a recurrance and in what timeframe?
