Once Cyberknife has been used on a lung nodule, how soon can its effectiveness normally be determined on a CT scan? Waldrep

We usually have to use a combination of PET and CT scans

Thank you Dr. Medbery. How long after the cyberknife of a lung nodule are the PET and CT scans normally done to check the status of the nodule? Waldrep

My mother had a cyberknife treatment for her 2 cm lung cancer 6 month ago, follow up every tree month by CT scan. The result show tumor image exactly same as before. Is this mean the treatment didn't work? Is the tumor suppose disappeared or reduced in size? or  Do you have any suggestion for future treatment? She has no symptom. 92 years old.Tumor detected by annual physical exam.Thank you for your time.
