Had Cyberknife twice on various liver tumours over past year at a Cyberknife clinic in Europe.

Still rapidly growing. I was given a total dose of 45 rads to each tumour. 15 rads over 3 days.

Is this enough. What should be the total number of rads used for each liver tumour?

Also is it more effective to give 45 rads in one go rather than split it up over 3 days. Surely one big dose in one go is more effective. Apparently that's what they do in American Cyberknife clinics. Give 50 rads in one go because it is more effective.

Thank you for your advice.

That is usually a sufficient dose, but treatment is not always effective. It works about 70-90% of the time. You can't tolerably give 45 Gy in a single fraction. And they don't give 50 GY in on treatment to the liver using the CK in America
