I was diagnosed with colon cancer end of July, stented, resection and nephrectomy performed August 22nd. Tumor had grown through the colon wall, around ureter and up against aorta. Kidney and most of tumor removed but some cancer left because too close to aorta to safely operate. Cancer in 2 of 29 lymph nodes and within kidney. CT Oct. 30th. Would I be a candidate for CyberKnife in order to destroy what remains of primary tumor and can CyberKnife be performed concurrently with chemo?
