My father had half of his liver removed, gallbladder , bile duct. He had a new lession 1 year later. My dad had srbt radiation on that lession. If a new mark were to show up on his liver does anyone have advice for what do to next, thanks

The question is really unanswerable because it would all depend on the exact nature of the problem at that time. He needs close monitoring.

The oncologist said that chemo would be next if a new spot were to appear. i am looking for other methods that could be considered so that i could research and find out locations for these methods. Thanks for your reply

You really can't say until you see what happens. He could be a candidate for SBRT again, but it would depend on details. He probably would need chemotherapy, but might need SBRT in addition. Chemotherapy will not be likely to fix things, but might prevent new recurrences.
