My uncle has been diagnosed with Liver cancer. Here is the extract from the report. Please can someone suggest if cyberknife procedure can be applied in his case - There is extensive arterialised tumour thrombus in the portal vein in keeping with hepatocellular carcinoma. This extends upto SMV - A large focal lesion in segments 5 and 6 of the liver measures around 86mm in size. - There is a 21mm lesion in segment 7 - A few sub centimetre enhancing foci in the right lobe. - Hypo density in segment 8 and 4 is probably perfusion related - Mild Ascites - Multiple varices but no splenomegaly - Normal Kidneys, adrenals and pancreas - Minor atelectasis is noted in the lung bases. - Thickwalled gall bladder with calculi and sludge Please can someone comment on the above
